We were so lucky to get campsite #11 at Bay Furnace Nat'l Forest Campground by Munising, MI yesterday. It is one of the few sites with a view to Lake Superior. The dogs, Sol & Lena, settled right in - just laying about watching the world go by.
This am we walked the puppies (with our coffee, of course)toward the beach & a big open field so they could be off-leash for a bit. For Sol, that means wandering around until he finds something good to smell & then smelling it until we make him move. For Lena, that means running around like a crazy girl. She loved the sand & waves & barking at everything.
Everybody felt good after that.
